Since its opening in 2010, the Bar Le Clandestin, nestled at 18 rue de la Valfère in Montpellier (neighborhood Sainte-Anne), has established itself as a true institution of local nightlife. True to its name, this establishment cultivates an intimate atmosphere of hidden club, away from mass tourist tours.
Visually, the bar has preserved its historic charm. With its apparent stones typical of the historic centre of Montpellier and its felted decoration, the place offers a warm and comforting atmosphere. Its voluntarily restricted capacity reinforces this feeling of privilege and proximity to musicians, making each evening a unique moment.
Logistics: Come early!
The Clandestin is a warm place but relatively intimate and cosy. Seating places, especially near the piano, are quickly pulled away at the end of the week. If you want a good table to snack and have a perfect view of the artist, the ideal is to arrive at the opening early in the evening.

The absolute strong point of the place is its atmosphere piano bar.
